From Sara Bunge, Acting Area Supervisor, BC Parks, South Okanagan.
The high use of Skaha Bluffs on the long weekends in spring and fall has led to some access and safety concerns. In the past, vehicles parked on either side of the single lane paved park road have made accessing the parking lots difficult as well as being a potential problem for emergency vehicles.
New no parking areas will be signed - there will be no parking along the single lane park road.
If needed overflow parking will be available at the bottom of Smythe Rd.
BC Parks staff will be enforcing the no parking areas.

BC Parks are working to improve the shoulders of the Skaha Bluffs access road. The pavement is getting chewed up and some drivers are having trouble pulling over for two-way traffic.
To affect the repairs, BC Parks are closing the access road between dawn and 1600 on June 10th. Access to the Bluffs will only possible on foot during that period of work.
Thanks for your patience.
